Receiving money by bank transfer
Your Rainpay account number, who issues it, and how to share it.
Your account number is issued by our banking partner and appears on your wallet with the bank's name beside it. Anyone can send to it from any Nigerian bank or wallet app, and the money reaches your Rainpay balance.
- 1Open your wallet and tap Receive money by bank transfer.
- 2Copy your account number and share it, together with the bank name shown.
- 3Money sent to it lands in your wallet and you get a credit alert.
If your wallet says no account number has been issued yet, verification is either incomplete or the partner is still issuing it. It appears without you doing anything else.
