Your transaction PIN and one-time codes

Create or change your PIN, and why every payout also needs a code.

Two things protect your money: a 4-digit PIN that only you know, and a one-time code we send you for sensitive actions. Nobody at Rainpay can see either of them.

Setting or changing your PIN

  1. 1Open Security from your account menu.
  2. 2Choose Create PIN, or Change PIN if you already have one.
  3. 3Confirm the change with the code we send you.
  4. 4You get an email whenever your PIN is created or changed.
  • Never use your date of birth or 1234.
  • After several wrong attempts your PIN locks for a while to stop guessing.
  • Codes expire after 10 minutes and can only be used once.
I forgot my PIN

Open Security and change it — you confirm with the code we send to your email or phone, so you do not need the old PIN.

I am not getting codes

Check your spam folder first. Codes go to your email, and also by text once your phone number is confirmed. If nothing arrives, mail support@rainpay.ng from your registered address.

Rainpay is a financial technology company and is not a bank. Banking, payment and deposit services are provided by licensed financial institutions and licensed payment service providers regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria, currently Beamer Microfinance Bank, Platnova and Red Biller Technologies.
